MICR Toner Cartridge Warranty

MICR Toner Cartridge Warranty

This MICR (magnetic) toner cartridge is manufactured under stringent quality control measures, assuring the highest performance and reliability standards available. There is a 100% guarantee the cartridge will perform to your satisfaction when used as directed.

Defects in material or workmanship within a 90 day period from the date of original purchase shall be reported. We will, at our option, repair the cartridge, replace the cartridge or issue a credit on a pro-rated basis dependent on when the cartridge should fail and if proven to be defective upon inspection.

Warranty is dependent upon the customer providing satisfactory evidence of a defective cartridge. Upon request of a warranty claim, the following MUST be included:

  • return of the defective cartridge
  • actual "Self Test Printout" page with toner density setting
  • at least 10 samples of actual checks rejected
  • copy of bank’s "MICR Specification Sheet" with bank’s name, contact name, and phone number
  • at least 10 sheets of blank MICR paper stock with supplier name, contact name, and phone number
  • copy of bank’s reject notice detailing reason for MICR reject, contact name, and phone number
  • make and model of reader/sorter where reject problems occurred
  • No additional liability beyond that stated above is implied

This MICR toner cartridge is tested for both print quality and signal strength. This cartridge meets or exceeds ABA and CBA/ANSI signal strength standards.
This guarantee can only apply when used in a conscientiously applied program of impact check printing using ANSI approved materials and ANSI approved standards.

LASER-PRINTER TIPS THAT WORK

ALWAYS have a backup cartridge available. This assures that you won’t have downtime.

STORE extra cartridges in a dark, cool place. Properly stored, the cartridge can keep up to 1 year if the foil wrapper hasn’t been removed. Light and moisture are the cartridges enemies.

ADD LIFE to a cartridge by removing it occasionally from the printer, holding it horizontally and rocking it gently from side to side. This redistributes the toner resin more evenly.
